Vascular BioSciences (VBS) is dedicated to enhancing and prolonging human life. Our innovative technologies are being developed to detect and treat vascular-based disease - the leading cause of serious illness and death in the industrialized world.

Instead of simply treating symptoms, VBS technology focuses on the intrinsic causes and mechanisms of vascular-based diseases, laying the foundation for a robust array of next generation interventional devices, molecular diagnostics, and targeted pharmaceuticals.

VBS Interventional, a division of Vascular Biosciences, develops and manufactures the world’s first endoarterial biopsy catheter, designed to uniquely access vital cellular information from the vasculature which will allow physicians to decipher and treat each patient according to their underlying vascular disease process.

VBS Molecular Diagnostics, a division of Vascular Biosciences, produces comprehensive profiles of vascular disease through the molecular analysis of endoarterial biopsy samples. Vascular profiling will allow faster and more definitive diagnosis, better matching of treatment to disease, personalized, targeted therapies, and the anticipation and avoidance of adverse health events.

VBS Pharmaceuticals, a majority owned subsidiary of Vascular Biosciences, develops therapies that address the fundamental mechanisms and pathways underlying vascular based diseases. Our current product pipeline is based upon our R-Ras Vascular Quiescence platform and drug targets discovered in-house with the endoarterial biopsy catheter.
